Laying the groundwork
for confident communication
across the lifespan.
Rebecca (Becca) graduated from San Francisco State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Disorders, Linguistics, and Dance. After a few years of working in applied behavior analysis, she went on to earn her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Arizona, with a Bilingual Certificate of specialty for serving culturally and linguistically diverse populations. She also completed the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) training program, designed to prepare leaders in healthcare across the United States.
While Becca has always loved working with kids, she is passionate about supporting strong and fruitful communication across the lifespan. She is especially interested in finding ways to dive into communities, bridge gaps, and get creative with treatment modalities. Becca focuses on making communication functional and relevant to her clients’ everyday lives.
Populations that she finds particularly rewarding to work with include the autistic community, kids of all ages, accent modification/expansion, and cognitive-communication challenges.
Becca maintains her American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and a license to practice in the state of Washington. When she’s out of the office, you can find her walking her fur child, Jackson, searching for the best flavors in the PNW, dancing at a studio, and tending to her garden.
